In accordance with our responsibilities and priorities the Centre delivers six civil-military programs and one major project:
- Concepts, Doctrine and Exercises – promotes national civil-military collaboration and assists stakeholders in the development and implementation of multiagency strategies
- Training and Education – develops, conducts and contributes to civil-military training, education and doctrine
- Research and Lessons Learned – develops and manages civil-military research projects in partnership with stakeholders
- Conflict Management and Prevention – analyses and develops civil-military best-practice for conflict prevention and peace and stabilisation operations
- Governance and Rule of Law – promotes a shared understanding of civil-military ‘best practice’ in post-conflict environments, including mechanisms to enhance the protection of civilians
- Disaster Management and Humanitarian – promotes civil-military best practice in humanitarian assistance, recovery and disaster management in natural and complex emergencies.
- Multiagency Peace and Stabilisation Operations project (MAPSOP) – supports Australian Government policy makers to further develop Australia’s national civil-military capabilities for complex and multidimensional peace and stabilisation operations.
